Jerry Frank Springer

Memorial service for Jerry Frank Springer, age 77 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Bible Baptist Church. Rev. Kim Hayes will officiate.

Jerry Frank was born the son of Ray Springer and Tulula Beatrice Black Springer on October 11, 1938 in Eldorado, Kansas. He died on August 6, 2015 at his home.

Jerry worked for the postal service as a facilities analyst engineer. After retiring, he did contract work for the Department of Justice and the Postal Inspector. Jerry was a member of the Lions Club of Oklahoma City and was a Mason. He loved to fish and bird hunt. Jerry was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather Fred Sierman, mother Tulula Springer Sierman and father Ray Springer.

Survivors include his wife Loretta Jewel Springer of the home; stepson Gregory Owen Wall of Oklahoma City; granddaughter Valerie Michelle Ramirez of Oklahoma City; grandson Jerry Don Wall; great granddaughters Hanna Leann Pogue, Danielle "Scooter" Ramirez, and Lexia Ramirez; brother and sister-in-law Bob and Ann Springer of Waco, Texas; numerous other family.

Cremation arrangements and memorial service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.

Michael (Mike) Lee Willis

Memorial service for Michael (Mike) Lee Willis, age 67, of Chickasha, OK will be held Monday, August 3, 2015 at 10:45 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 541 Mercy Dr. (off of 27th St), El Reno, OK. Rev. Glen Chapman will officiate.

Michael Lee Willis was born the son of Ruby Marie Garcia Willis on February 13, 1948 in El Reno, OK. He died on July 27, 2015 in Chickasha, OK.

Mike grew up in El Reno and graduated high school from Sacred Heart Catholic School. He entered the US Army and served from 1967 to 1969. In 1972 he married his wife Jeanne and they had two children together. He worked for the Rock Island Railroad for several years before going to work for the US Postal Service. During his time with the US Postal Service, he was more than just a letter carrier–he developed close relationships with his customers. In 2013 he retired after 28 years of service. He was a NARVE member as well as a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in El Reno. Mike loved to fish, tend his vegetable garden and play with his grandchildren. He loved listening to oldies music and reminiscing about the old days with family and friends. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother Ruby Willis; father-in-law Franklin Pettit; brothers-in-law Mike Pettit, Charles Pettit, Danny Truelock and Bill Chapman; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mike is survived by his wife Jeanne Willis; son Kreg Willis; daughter Keri Willis; grandchildren Brandon Willis, Ian Willis Rangel, Tessa Willis, Presley Neidy, Michaela Neidy; and sisters Nancy Duvall and Rosalie Johnston and husband Bob.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, Memorial & Tribute Processing Center, PO Box 1653, Topeka, KS 66601-1653.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home, Chickasha, OK. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
