Kathleen Joy Davis
 
Funeral service for Kathleen Joy Davis, age 79 of Chickasha will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at the McRay Funeral Home Chapel.
 
Kathleen was born the daughter of Clinton Cotton and Thelma Lorene Keith Cotton on October 14, 1936, in Alex, OK. She died on August 17, 2016 in Chickasha.
 
Kathleen grew up and attended school in Alex, OK. During high school, she moved to Oklahoma City where she lived a short time before moving back to Alex. She married Earl D. Davis in 1959 and lived the rest of her life in Chickasha and Alex. Kathleen loved and knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She loved to talk about her faith and would often tell her son, "I don’t worry about it any more. I just give it to the Lord". Kathleen also loved having company and loved animals.
 
She was preceded in death by her father Clinton Cotton; mother Thelma Cotton Ludwell; step father Wiley B. Ludwell; infant daughter Jacklyn Davis, son Steven Michael Davis, and stepson Earl Douglas Davis, Jr.
 
She is survived by her husband, Earl D. Davis of Norman; son and wife Frank and Janell Ludwell of Chickasha; grandson Dr. Christopher Ludwell of Chickasha; great grandsons Jalin, Landry, Haydn and Boden Ludwell of Chickasha; aunt Jean Lowrey of Wilmington, CA; step grandsons Stephen Rodriguez, Jayson Rodriguez and wife Jennifer; step great grandchildren Jaden Fuller, Rilee Fuller, Kaylee Rodriguez, Jayah Rodriguez, Jordan Rodriguez, Stephen Rodriguez Jr, Nadie Rodriguez; step great great granddaughter Norah Bashaw; special granddaughter Chanda Jennings.
 
Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery. Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.

James Riley Goforth

Funeral service for James Riley Goforth, age 57 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, was held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2016 in the Full Gospel Church. Sister Alice Wendling will officiate.
 
 James Riley was born the son of James William Goforth and Ruby Haney Goforth on August 3, 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia. He died on August 19, 2016 at his home in Chickasha.
 
 James moved to Prichard, Alabama as a baby and graduated from high school in Prichard. In 1981, he moved to Chickasha. James worked at Pet Milk until it closed in 1992, then began driving a truck. He worked at other various jobs and for the past eight years he was a sales representative in the oilfield. James was a professional flirt and was always the boss. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church.
 
 He was preceded in death by his parents James and Ruby Goforth; sister Mary Ann Williams; sister Barbara Gean Goforth.
 
 Survivors include his daughter Jamie Lynn Goforth Bosarge of Mobile, Alabama; sister Gail Bryan (Bobby West) of Chickasha; brother Wayne Goforth (Mikel Ann) of Eight Mile, Alabama; brother John Goforth (Pat) of Stevenson, Alabama; brother David Goforth (Jennifer) of Chickasha; brother Gary Goforth (Casper) of Rush Springs; stepson Heath Owens of Yukon; stepdaughter Ami Spoonemore of Chickasha; stepson Derrik Spoonemore of Chickasha; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
 
Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Service was under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
 

Edna Gail Evans

Memorial service for Edna Gail Evans, age 59 of Chickasha will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, August 20, 2016 in the McRay Funeral Home chapel.

Edna was born the daughter of Wendall Freeman Evans and Vivian Marie Taylor Evans on July 10, 1957 in Macon, Georgia. She died on August 18, 2016 in Oklahoma City.

Edna was an avid motorcycle rider and went on many charity runs. She loved to camp, fish, and make jewelry which she often gave as gifts. She also loved to hang out with family and friends. She worked at Delta for six years and HSI for thirteen years. Edna was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Chickasha.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers Buddy Evans and Leon Evans.

Survivors include long time partner and best friend Roger Spencer of Ninnekah, OK; sister Carla Ramirez of Dill City, OK; brother Leroy Evans of Denver, CO; son Matt and Brandi Adams of Fredricktown, MO; daughter Amanda Lively Calloway and Vicki Gilbert of Greenwood, AR; son Dale and Delia Lively of Weatherford, OK; son Shane and Sara Adams of Fredricktown, MO; nine grandchildren.

Cremation and services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.


Dollie Louise Grissam
 
Graveside service for Dollie Louise Grissam, age 75 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016 in the Rush Springs Cemetery. Cleta Jones will officiate.
 
Dollie Louise was born the daughter of Harell Grissam and Hazel Louise Morris Grissam on February 24, 1941 in Rush Springs. She died on August 10, 2016 in Chickasha.
 
Dollie grew up in Rush Springs and lived with her parents until the age of 28. Having downes syndrome, she moved to Chickasha Nursing Home in 1969 for special care since her parents health was failing. She loved kids and was a great babysitter to various family members. Dollie loved to watch Marshall Dillon and Little Joe on television. She loved to color and collect pictures that she tore out of magazines.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents Harell and Hazel Grissam; sister Katherine and brother Gary.
 
Survivors include brother and wife Glen Grissam and Ikie; brother and wife Joe Grissam and Reba; sister and husband Marilyn Crossen and Jack; brother and wife Robert Grissam and Cathy; brother and wife Larry Grissam and Shelley; brother and companion Darell Grissam and Carie Stroud; numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
Allene Germaine Ward Jackson
 
Funeral service for Allene Germaine Ward Jackson, age 88 of Chickasha will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Southern Oaks Church of Christ.
 
Allene was born to Luke and Verna Ardel (Crawford) Ward on December 4, 1927 at Asher, Oklahoma. She died August 6, 2016 in Chickasha.
 
Allene graduated from Asher High School in 1945, and married Lloyd Jackson on June 30, 1945. They lived in the southeastern part of the United States for 30 years before coming to Chickasha where they resided since 1978. Allene was the love of Lloyd’s life. She was a member of the Church of Christ most of her life and was a member of Southern Oaks Church of Christ.
 
Allene was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, her mother and father, two brothers Conrad Ward and Ray Dean Ward, and an infant son Larry Dale.
 
Allene is survived by a sister-in-law Marie Ward of Lacey, WA; one nephew Dennis Ward and wife Linda of Olympia, WA; great niece Sonja and her husband Paul Glasgow and their twins Ashley and Austin of Olympia, WA; great nephew Marc Ward of Tempe, AZ; dear friend Celia Peixotto of Lamar, Ok and her two daughters Meghan and Madyson Roark; several cousins and a host of friends.
 
Interment will be in the Tecumseh Cemetery in Tecumseh, OK. Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.
