Carrie Armstrong

Funeral service for Carrie Armstrong, age 94, of Norge, OK will be held at 10:30am on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Bible Baptist Church.

Carrie married Jim Armstrong in 1954 in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma.  She has lived in the Norge and Pioneer area for many years.  She was a member of the Laverty Baptist Church.  Carrie loved canning and sewing.

Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Rosa Smith; her husband, Jim Armstrong; daughter, Betty Abshier;  three sisters and their husbands, Emmie and Jack Devault; Ruby and Art Hayes, Bessie and Jack Lee; grandsons, Freddy Abshier and
Kirk Abshier; son-in-law, Jimmy Abshier

She is survived by her son, Jim Armstrong; former daughter-in-law Laurie Dobson; grandsons Nicholas Armstrong and Jesse Armstrong; granddaughter Brittney Armstrong; great grandchildren Andrea, Ahbree, Paisley, Corbin, and one great granddaughter soon to be born.

Burial will be in the Laverty Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.
