Jess Lee Schenk
Jess Lee Schenk, 59, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, passed away at his home on April 13, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm, Friday, April 24, 2026 at the First Baptist church of Ninnekah.
Jess was born on July 7, 1966, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Lee Roy Schenk and Mary Alice Richardson Schenk. He was raised in the Chickasha and Ninnekah area, where he built a life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and deep love for his family. He graduated from Chickasha High School and went on to earn his Associate's Degree in Diesel Mechanics from Okmulgee Tech in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Jess spent many years working diligently to provide for his family. He began his career at Maremont in Chickasha, later worked for Cimarron Trailers, and then dedicated many years to the oilfield industry. After his time in the oilfield, he worked for Baity's Machine before finishing his career with Jani-King at Salt Creek Casino.
Outside of work, Jess found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, feeling the freedom of the open road. Above all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren, who brought him immense happiness and pride. Jess was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend—a loving man who gave his whole heart to his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Schenk; mother Mary Schenk; sister, Jana Lee; and brother-in-law, Paul Gayle.
Jess is survived by his loving wife, Karla Schenk; his children, Gregory Phillips and wife Rai, Cody Kendall and wife Cheyenne, Kyler Sylve, and Nicole Morris; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his brothers, Mark Schenk and Gary Schenk; and his sister, Marcy Gayle. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.
