 Linda Tuley

Funeral service for Linda Tuley will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel.

Linda Gale (Smith) Tuley, age 80, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025. She was born on October 8, 1945, in Stamford, Texas, to Earl and Ruthie       Swain.

In 1961, Linda married Walter L. Smith in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Together they made their home in Dibble, Oklahoma, where they raised their three children and built a life centered on family, faith, and hard work. Throughout her life, Linda wore many hats. She owned and managed restaurants, worked as a beautician, and served others with pride in every role she held. Yet, she often said her greatest and most cherished job was raising her children. Linda was a true servant at heart—anyone who came into her home was welcomed with a warm meal and a fresh cup of hot coffee. Caring for others came as naturally to her as breathing. Linda once said "Life is all about people you love and respect". She deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family was the center of her world, and her home was always filled with laughter, love, and hospitality. She had a lifelong love for travel and adventure. Linda especially enjoyed time spent at the lake and fishing trips to Webber's Falls. In 2006, she married James Tuley in Lexington, Oklahoma. Together, they made their home in Chickasha, Oklahoma, and spent years traveling the country, embracing the RV lifestyle. Whether waking up beside a lake, river, mountain view, or RV park, Linda found joy in the journey—and continued her love of caring for others wherever the road led.

Linda was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter L. Smith; her parents, Earl and Ruthie       Swain; and her daughter, Cindy Smith.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Tuley of Chickasha, Oklahoma; her children Walter Smith and wife Tammy of Dibble, Oklahoma; Paul Smith and wife Sarah of Sherman, Texas; and Vickie Terry and husband Lance Terry of Dibble, Oklahoma; ten     grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Linda will be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering love for her family, and her lifelong desire to serve and care for others. Her legacy of kindness and hospitality will live on in all who knew and loved her.
