Obituary

Vicki Lynn Bauman

Vicki Lynn (Clift) Bauman was born in Pauls Valley on June 18, 1954. She was the oldest child of Oliver Truman and Ellen Ruth (Taylor) Clift. She peacefully passed away in her home on July 25, 2022 surrounded by her family. The family will have a memorial service at 2:00 pm on Saturday August 13, 2022 at the Southern Oaks Church of Christ in Chickasha. All who knew and loved her are invited.

She lived in Pauls Valley, Duncan, Bradley, and Lindsay before her family settled in Chickasha where she would graduate from Chickasha High School in the class of 1972. She and Phil were married on January 14, 1972 both at the age of 17 and spent the next 50 years of life being inseparable. From this union they had a daughter and a son.

Vicki was a member of the 16th and Florida Church of Christ where she met the love of her life and future husband Phillip Bauman. She was currently a member of the Southern Oaks Church of Christ. Vicki had many loves including her family, friends and of course her many beloved pets throughout the years. Her favorite past times were shopping/thrifting, making jewelry, and collecting things she loved. Being diagnosed at an early age with her health condition placed many obstacles in her way over the years, but she never lost her positive outlook and kind gentle spirit.

Vicki is survived by her husband Phillip Bauman, her daughter Abby Bauman and husband Coy Maloney, and her son Nathan Bauman and wife Nicole. She was Mimi to her grandbabies.  They are Alexis Pearson and husband Jake, Kade Bauman, and Aleah Bauman. She also had one very special great grandbaby Baylor Pearson. Siblings include Phyllis Hamilton and husband Kevin, Christi Wood, Gina Juarez and husband Eddie, and Kent Clift and wife Lori. She also had many nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Truman and Ruth Clift and nephew Garrett Wood.

Arrangements were handled by McRay Funeral Home.
